Ms. Shakeita Price is a proud Veteran of the United States Armed Forces. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Coastal Carolina University and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of South Carolina.
As both a licensed Mortgage Broker and Real Estate Agent, Ms. Price specializes in helping families streamline the homebuying process, making it easier and more accessible to achieve homeownership. Through her one-stop-shop services, she offers comprehensive solutions to meet all of her clients' real estate needs.Driven by a passion for helping others, Ms. Price is dedicated to empowering individuals to build generational wealth and break the cycle of poverty. Since entering the real estate industry in 2020, she has successfully assisted over 300 families in purchasing their dream homes.Ms. Price’s outstanding achievements in real estate have earned her numerous accolades, including being recognized as the Top Real Estate Producer in 2025, Top Mortgage Lender of the Pee Dee and among the Top 25 Mortgage Lenders with SC Housing. In 2014, Ms. Price discovered a calling to support adolescents, leading her to establish her nonprofit organization, Ladies Divine to Shine. This initiative focuses on providing positive mentorship to young women.
As a published author, Ms. Price has made significant contributions to women’s empowerment. In 2019, she co-authored the book Extraordinary Makeover alongside 17 other remarkable women. In 2021, she released her second book, How to Buy a Home in 30 Days, a practical guide for prospective homeowners. Last year she co-authored a third book, "I AM Enough".
Above all, Ms. Price finds her greatest motivation in her spouse and children, Amina, Jace, and Jordynn who are her inspiration and driving force.
Woman finds purpose in helping darlington county community get healthier
Shakeita Price, 28, grew up in the Darlington County community of Lamar but moved to Florence during her junior year in high school.
Price said she's gained a lot over the years through hard work and determination.
She added it discouraged her that there aren't many recreational opportunities for children in Lamar.
“As a child, there were a lot of different things that I didn’t have. So coming back to the Lamar community that I was raised in. And to see that you don’t have much here," said Price.
Price is the founder of Ladies Divine To Shine, Inc.
