Sharing my story in this book alongside other powerful women is a true testament of my journey to learning that I am enough. As a little girl, I often felt less than because of my skin color and hair, and I can still recall adults in my own family making a mockery of my appearance. But thank God for healing that little girl, because today I stand whole. My hope is that my story reminds every child and every adult walking through their own pain that you, too, are enough.
